Broccoli burger

a simple & healthy veggie burger, nothing but natural.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 250 g broccoli
  • 50 g oatmeal
  • 50 g old goat cheese or roquefort
  • 1 egg
  • 45 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. cut broccoli into florets, peel stump, cut into cubes.
  2. cook broccoli for 4-6 minutes. drain & let cool down briefly.
  3. transfer to food processor, grind into coarse puree.
  4. transfer to mixing bowl, stir in oatmeal & cheese. add half of a beaten egg, spoon by spoon, mix until firm. add little more egg if necessary.
  5. toss mixture onto a plate, flatten, cut a cross to form 4 equal pieces. form to shape each part into burger patties, refrigerate for 1 hour.
  6. in a frying pan, heat olive oil, fry patties until nicely browned, medium heat, 8-10 minutes. flip to turn sides regularly.
