Buckwheat tahini granola

an amazingly crunchy granola filled with buckwheat & seeds.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 120 g buckwheat grains
  • 120 g oatmeal
  • 80 g sunflower seeds
  • 80 g pumpkin seeds
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 150 g apple sauce, without added sugar
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp rice syrup, or honey

Instructions

  1. preheat oven, 175 °C / 350 °F.
  2. add all dry ingredients to mixing bowl.
  3. in a separate bowl, mix apple sauce, tahini, & your choice of rice syrup or honey.
  4. add apple sauce mixture to dry ingredients, stir well to form nice chunks.
  5. spread granola on a parchment-lined baking sheet, keep it chunky!
  6. bake 30 minutes.
  7. while baking, push & flip granola twice to ensure all sides are nicely browned, spoon carefully so chunks do not fall apart.
  8. remove when crispy brown.
  9. allow granola cool down completely.
  10. storing in an airtight jar.
