Oriental bean sprouts salad

flavorful spicy bean sprouts salad with lots & lots of seeds & nuts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 50 g pine nuts
  • 40 g sesame seeds
  • 60 g unsalted pecans
  • 2 red chillies
  • 3 spring onions
  • 125 g bean sprouts
  • 250 g sliced ​​white /or/ oxheart cabbage
  • 50 ml natural vinegar
  • 75 g olive oil
  • 35 g coconut blossom sugar
  • 35 ml gluten-free soy sauce

Instructions

  1. in a dry frying pan, roast (separately) pine nuts, sesame seeds, pecans until nut & seed turn golden brown. Stir continuously to avoid burnt!
  2. allow nuts & seeds cool completely. **if prepared in advance, store in an airtight container until ready to serve.
  3. cut chilies and spring onions into rings, mix with bean sprouts and cabbage thoroughly.
  4. dressing: mix vinegar, oil, sugar & soy sauce.
    • tips: use an old jam jar to shake & dissolve sugar, sing & dance a Jamaican song while shaking!
  5. combine everything before serving.
