when it comes to healthy diet, do we really have to compensate taste?
i say not. not if we did it with a determined heart and multiple trials. here is a proof of a fresh yet tasty vegetable burger does not need any of those hard to understand chemical additives.
Broccoli burger
a simple & healthy veggie burger, nothing but natural.

- Yield: 4 burgers 1x
Ingredients

- 250 g broccoli
- 50 g oatmeal
- 50 g old goat cheese or roquefort
- 1 egg
- 4–5 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- cut broccoli into florets, peel stump, cut into cubes.
- cook broccoli for 4-6 minutes. drain & let cool down briefly.
- transfer to food processor, grind into coarse puree.
- transfer to mixing bowl, stir in oatmeal & cheese. add half of a beaten egg, spoon by spoon, mix until firm. add little more egg if necessary.
- toss mixture onto a plate, flatten, cut a cross to form 4 equal pieces. form to shape each part into burger patties, refrigerate for 1 hour.
- in a frying pan, heat olive oil, fry patties until nicely browned, medium heat, 8-10 minutes. flip to turn sides regularly.
