today, foodies around the world have came up with so many recipes for cauliflowers. boy! am i glad “no more soft & pale cauliflowers” !!
try this fun recipe: grilled, crispy, & super tasty “cauli-steak”, with mango dip. Enjoy!
Cauliflower steak grilled
crispy cauliflower steak, what a fun snack!

- 1/2 cauliflower
- 1 egg
- oat milk
- salt
- pepper
- 3 tbsp oat flour
- gluten-free cracottes or rusks / toast
- coconut oil
- 1/2 mango
Instructions
- preheat oven, 180 °C / 355 °F.
- cut cauliflower into slices.
- prepare 3 deep plates or bowls:
- in 1st plate : beat egg with a dash of plant-based milk, season with salt & pepper.
- 2nd plate: add some oat flour.
- 3rd plate: firstly, put toast or crackers in a zipper bag, use rolling pin to crush into breadcrumbs. Pour breadcrumbs on 3rd plate.
- dip & turn cauliflower slices in the plates following the exact order below:
- egg sauce
- flour
- egg sauce again
- finally, patch through breadcrumbs
- in a frying pan, heat some coconut oil, quickly brown cauliflower slices on both sides.
- on a lined baking sheet, place cauliflowers in oven to continue cooking, about 15~20 minutes
- puree mango, serve as a dip with the crispy cauliflower.
